Adeboye speaks on trending AI-Generated ‘Alhaji’ image

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has reacted to a viral AI-generated image portraying him as an Alhaji.
The image, which circulated widely on social media, sparked curiosity and humor among his followers.
Addressing the matter with a smile during the first Holy Ghost Night of the year, Adeboye said, “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an Alhaji.” He refrained from making further comments on the image, swiftly shifting to more serious discussions concerning the new year.
Adeboye delivered powerful prophecies, including a stern warning about a massive earthquake predicted to occur in 2025. He called for fervent prayers to avert catastrophic events and urged the global community to seek peace to prevent the outbreak of another world war.
As RCCG embarks on its annual 100-day fast, Adeboye outlined the prayer focus, dedicating the first 30 days to seeking divine intervention for Nigeria. He pledged to lead the congregation in “violent prayers” to uproot forces obstructing national progress.
The revered cleric prophesied that 2025 would be a year of monumental breakthroughs, promotions, and fulfilled dreams for many. However, he cautioned that fasting without prayer would amount to mere “hunger strikes,” emphasizing the need for spiritual diligence.
He further advised against engaging in idle conversations during the fasting period and encouraged individuals over 70 years of age to either abstain or modify their fasting routine in accordance with their health and strength.
Adeboye’s address has set the tone for a spiritually charged year for RCCG members and Christians worldwide, as his prophecies and calls for prayer continue to resonate across social media and church platforms.
