Al-Nassr splash £100m for Chelsea star

Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo has emerged as a prime target for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, with the Riyadh-based outfit reportedly plotting a move worth more than £100 million for the Ecuadorian international.
Now in his second season at Stamford Bridge following a record-breaking £115 million switch from Brighton, the 23-year-old has started to settle into life in West London after an initially inconsistent spell.
Caicedo’s performances this campaign have drawn admiration not only within the Premier League but also from abroad. According to The Telegraph, Al-Nassr view the dynamic midfielder as a marquee signing and a key part of their long-term ambitions in the Saudi Pro League.
The Middle Eastern club, home to Cristiano Ronaldo, are believed to regard Caicedo as an ideal addition to their squad. However, prising him away from Chelsea will be no easy task.
The Blues remain firmly opposed to selling the player, particularly given their significant financial outlay and belief in his long-term potential. With Chelsea not entertaining offers at this stage, any formal approach would likely need to exceed £100 million just to open negotiations.
