Ancelotti’s possible Brazil squad leaked

Brazilian media have leaked what would be Carlo Ancelotti’s first pre-list as the new coach of the ‘Canarinha’. He would return to important players from the past and introduce a surprise or two in attack.

Brazil are looking forward to Ancelotti’s new era after a difficult period. In just a few days the Italian’s first call-up will be announced, but ‘Globoesporte’ has already given some clues by leaking part of the pre-list that the coach would have sent. Neymar, who had already been participating again in the national team before his injury with Santos, but has not played for a month, would be in the squad.

It is also surprising to see Oscar, the former Chelsea playmaker who left for China and now plays for Brazilian club Sao Paulo. At 33, he could once again wear the ‘Canarinha’ shirt, something he has not enjoyed since 2015. That is, he could do it a decade later. ‘Globoesporte’ has not yet confirmed Casemiro’s return, which had also been speculated by Ancelotti.

There will be a high representation from Flamengo, with up to six players from the team in the squad who could be in the final: Danilo – a former Real Madrid or Juventus player – Wesley, Leo Ortiz, Alex Sandro, Gerson and Pedro. Local football will have an important contribution to the next squad.
