Arsenal target Sesko will only move for special project – Agent

Benjamin Sesko’s agent, Elvis Basanovic, has offered fresh insight into the striker’s future amid growing interest from Arsenal, making clear that any departure from RB Leipzig will be guided by principle rather than pressure.
The Gunners, in search of a clinical forward to bolster their attacking options, have been closely monitoring the 22-year-old, but Basanovic insists that only a “special club” with a meaningful long-term project would tempt his client away from Germany.
Despite Leipzig’s failure to secure Champions League football next season—a factor that often triggers transfer exits—the player’s camp has taken a notably measured stance.
“We do things the right way or not at all,” Basanovic explained, underlining that they will not push or manipulate the club into selling. But Arsenal’s interest is believed to be serious, with Mikel Arteta’s side keen to add a dynamic and physically commanding forward ahead of the new campaign.
However, the agent’s remarks suggest that the north London club will need to present more than just a lucrative offer; they must also demonstrate a compelling sporting vision aligned with his development.
In a market often dominated by power plays and posturing, Sesko’s situation stands out—his next move, should it come, looks set to be shaped as much by values as by value.
