Bayern Munich set to announce Jonathan Tah’s arrival

Jonathan Tah will pass his medical with Bayern Munich and sign a contract until 2029 with the German club on Wednesday, before travelling to join Germany’s training camp.
The transfer saga of Jonathan Tah is about to come to an end. The Bayer Leverkusen centre-back, who was considered to be one of the big bargains of the summer transfer window due to his contract expiring with the German club, is to be announced as a new Bayern Munich player.
Despite Barcelona’s strong interest in landing him, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl has been quicker to secure the services of the 29-year-old defender.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Tah will undergo his medical with Bayern Munich on Wednesday and will be announced after he signs a contract that runs until June 2029. After that, the centre-back will travel to join the Germany training camp.
Tah has again been a key player in a great season for Leverkusen, making 48 official appearances, 45 starts in which he has scored six goals and provided one assist.
