Breaking: Labour Party governorship candidate dumps party for PDP

Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in the 2023 election in Enugu, Chief Chijioke Edeoga, has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Edeoga, who left the PDP for LP after failing to secure its governorship ticket, finished second in the election behind Governor Peter Mbah.

On Monday, 31st of March, 2025, Edeoga finally arrived at the PDP secretariat in Enugu, describing his return as “home coming”.
