Breaking: Obi speaks as Victor Osimhen rejects Al Hilal move

Nigerian star striker Victor Osimhen has officially turned down a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, despite the club having reached a €75 million agreement with Napoli.
According to top transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has made it clear he is not interested in the switch to Saudi Arabia, blocking the deal at the personal terms stage.
The 26-year-old’s decision leaves Napoli and Al Hilal in a holding pattern, as the Saudi side now re-evaluates their options in the hunt for a top-class striker to strengthen Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
This rejection has reignited interest from other European clubs. Turkish giants Galatasaray are said to be determined to land the striker and are preparing to push hard to convince both Osimhen and Napoli. Meanwhile, the race is now wide open, with several top-tier clubs monitoring the situation closely.
However, Mikel Obi has revealed why Victor Osimhen rejected Al-Hilal offers.
In his words, He said: “Saudi clubs have been following Osimhen for a while and offering him huge sums of money, but I’d rather see him play for Chelsea, his boyhood club, which he loved and admired Drogba.”
