Car spotter who filmed Pastor Adefarasin’s convoy receives donation after viral video

A young Nigerian car enthusiast who went viral after capturing a video of Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s luxury convoy has received a cash donation of ₦350,000 from kind-hearted members of the public.
The fundraising initiative was led by media personality and #FreeTheSheeple movement convener, Daddy Freeze, who took interest in the young man’s story following the online buzz his video generated.
Daddy Freeze made the announcement via his Instagram page, revealing that the money was raised by compassionate followers who were moved by the young man’s humble living conditions and unwavering passion.
During an Instagram Live session, Daddy Freeze had a conversation with the car spotter, who was unable to show his face on screen due to a power outage at his residence. Disturbed by the young man’s situation, Daddy Freeze said:
“Don’t worry, we will give you cash today. I am not happy that you don’t have light… This boy should be encouraged.”
The anonymous car spotter disclosed that he stopped schooling after completing secondary school due to financial constraints. With a background in commercial studies, he turned to car spotting as a passion, often standing by the roadside for up to eight hours daily in hopes of capturing high-end automobiles on video.
His dedication finally paid off when he recorded a clip of Pastor Adefarasin’s black Range Rover. The video, which created online conversations over an alleged firearm seen in the pastor’s hand, gained widespread traction and brought the young man’s work into the spotlight.
Touched by his consistency and the challenges he faces, Daddy Freeze urged his audience to support him financially and they responded generously, donating ₦350,000 to help him pursue his dreams.
