De Bruyne announces next destination

Kevin De Bruyne will announced his next club for the upcoming season.
The departing Man City skipper has concrete offers from Napoli and Chicago Fire, with both sides ready to battle to sign him.
Having said his goodbyes to the Etihad in Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth, Kevin De Bruyne is set to decide on his next destination. The Manchester City captain, who will end a decade-long tenure after not being offered a renewal, has two concrete offers on the table at the moment.
According to transfer experts Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Napoli and Chicago Fire are the two clubs in the race to sign the Belgian playmaker for the upcoming season, with the Italians said to be slightly in the advantage over their Major League Soccer rivals.
The Azzurri have reportedly offered De Bruyne a two-year contract with an option to extend for a third year, which would see him earn 10 million euros. In an eventual third year, his salary would be slightly decreased. That would make him the highest-paid player in the squad.
On the other hand, Chicago Fire, looking for a star to bolster their team, are ready to propose a lucrative four-year deal which would make the 32-year-old the third highest-paid player in the MLS. A verdict is yet to be made by De Bruyne, who is very cautious about where to move.
It is understood that family is a big factor for the City midfielder, and a decision will be made by taking into account all sporting, personal and financial fronts. Romano also informs that Juventus have also gathered information on De Bruyne, though, as things stand, they remain out of the race.
