Dele Momodu condemns Nyesome Wike’s press conference

Popular journalist and activist, Dele Momodu, has condemned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesome Wike, over his press conference.
Momodu on Monday described the conference as a melodramatic moment.
He also accused Wike of making assumptions about wealthy individuals living in affluent neighborhoods.
He continued by saying Wike’s assumption that residents of upscale neighborhoods have the financial capacity to pay all their bills at once is misguided.
Momudu argued that even the wealthiest individuals, including business billionaires like Aliko Dangote, often have debts and cannot pay all their bills simultaneously.
He also condemned Wike’s personal attack on Lagos State former governor Babatunde George, by describing it as terribly in bad taste.
He stated that Wike singled out George’s name from thousands of defaulters which he perceived as a deliberate attempt to humiliate the former governor.
Momodu’s criticism of Wike has sparked a debate about the Minister’s approach to governance and his treatment of perceived critics
