Finland: Simon Ekpa announces new lawyer

The pro-Biafra activist, Simon Ekpa, has announced a new legal representative for his upcoming trial in Finland, set for June 2025.
According to BBC Pidgin, Ekpa switched lawyers after his former counsel “retired from service.”
His newly appointed lawyer, Kaarle Gummerus, confirmed receiving Ekpa’s pre-trial documents and is currently reviewing them.
Gummerus also assured that Ekpa will be present in court for the trial in June 2025.
