Fraudsters issuing fake awards of contracts on school feeding, FG alerts Nigerians

The federal government has asked Nigerians to be wary of activities of fraudsters issuing fake awards of contracts and requesting payments to individual accounts.
Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Wednesday raised the alarm.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Dr Yetunde Adeniji, called on Nigerians to not only ignore such persons or organizations but report them to security agencies in the country.
The Presidential aide insisted that her office does not charge any fee for awards, recognitions, or any form of engagements in the name of the school feeding programme.
“We do not ask individuals or organizations to make payments to individual accounts for any purpose related to our programs or activities. Any request for payment or issuance of awards in our name should be treated with caution
“Please report any suspicious activities or requests to the nearest Police station. We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in this matter,” she stated.
