Hansi Flick sets for new Barcelona’s deal

Barcelona and Hansi Flick will remain linked until 2027. Although not yet official, both parties have negotiated and agreed on the renewal of the coach, who can still achieve the treble in his debut season as the ‘Cules’ boss
Barcelona and Hansi Flick want more. Not only in terms of titles – he has won the Spanish Super Cup and can still go for the treble – but also in terms of their relationship. Both have reached an unofficial agreement to extend their contract until 2027.
‘Marca’ reported this deal between club and coach that will become effective at the end of the season. Neither of the two parties wants to be distracted in this final stretch of the campaign and that is why they have postponed the announcement until the summer.
In this way, it is an agreement that Barcelona and the German coach have reached, since both parties are happy with the performance delivered in these first months of his spell in Spain.
Flick has a contract with Barcelona until June 2026. Thus, he would add one more season to his contract at the Catalan team, in which he has landed on his feet in this first season.
In addition, ‘Marca’ assures that the club does not have enough ‘Fair Play’ to undertake the renewal of its coach right now, so it has to wait until the summer to make its economy more flexible and undertake the new contract.
