Hardship: Cleric declares readiness to join genuine protest

Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has declared that he’s ready to lead a genuine protest against bad government in Nigeria.
The cleric said this in a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
According to him ” Let me say it emphatically that I have not seen a genuine protest in Nigeria. Any planned protest is not considered to be a genuine one.
“Can you tell a hungry man when to protest? The organizers or the sponsors didn’t plan it well.
“Honestly, there are a lot of things wrong with us. We are not honest with ourselves.
“We must go back to the foundation of Nigeria and see what is wrong with us.
” The same people that are protesting today, give them N5,000 tomorrow, they will still go ahead and vote for their oppressors.
“I am ready to lead a genuine protest if I see one. I love Nigeria, and I feel for the poor.
“The state governors are the real enemies of Nigeria. What are they doing to alleviate poverty in their respective areas?
“I want to plead with President Bola Tinubu to do everything possible for history to remember him.
“The history won’t forget him if he doesn’t take a proactive step urgently to drastically bring down the prices of Petroleum and foodstuffs.
“Please heed to my advice, very quickly. You were part of the people who fought for democracy, and you should not be the one to mess it up.
“The people are crying for help, justice, equity, and fairness. It doesn’t cost you anything to declare all land borders open.
“It doesn’t cost you anything to bring down the prices of foodstuffs and petroleum. Don’t allow the devil to harden your heart.
“I know you mean well for Nigerians, but act now before it’s too late. Put your political enemies to shame and make Nigerians happy.
