Inuwa Yahaya condoles with RFI over loss of Kabir Yusuf

The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the management and staff of Radio France International (RFI) over the demise of their Abuja correspondent, Muhammad Kabir Yusuf.
In a statement, Governor Inuwa Yahaya praised Yusuf’s professionalism, saying his insightful reporting and commitment to truth were a source of pride for RFI, and a vital part of the democratic fabric of the nation.

The NSGF Chairman extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, his colleagues at RFI, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the entire community of media practitioners, acknowledging the deep loss felt across the profession. “As we mourn this great loss, let us also remember the life and career of Muhammad Kabir Yusuf by striving to maintain the standards of excellence and integrity that he so passionately championed”, he urged.
The Governor prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus, as well as give strength and comfort to his family during this difficult time. END
