Kure expresses sympathy over Mokwa floods tragedy

Rt. Hon Yusuf kure Barage, member representing Bosso/Paikoro has expressed a deep sympathy with the people of Mokwa Local Government Niger State Area, over the devastating floods that occurred in the area.
Kure in statement release on Friday through his media team, “he described the tragedy as a big significant loss to Nupe people and urged the community to come together in prayer so as avoid further occurences.
“He emphasized the importance of respecting the deceased and cautioned against speaking ill of them, by giving reference to islamic teachings that attribute all life events to Allah’s will.
“Kure quoted a Qur’anic verse, no misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before we bring it into existence, that’s truly easy for Allah, to underscore the divine nature of the tragedy.
“He extended his condolences to the executive chairman of Mokwa Local Government, Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, people of Mokwa and the Governor of Niger State Umaru Mohammed Bago, over the flood incident.
“He called on the people of Mokwa and the Nupe community to engage in prayers to prevent further tragedies and prayed for the deceased.
“The Lawmaker prayed for the deceased to be granted Jannatul Firdausi as their final resting place”.
