La Liga: Vinicius calls for unity as Madrid turn focus to domestic glory

Vinicius Jr has urged Real Madrid fans to rally behind the team as they shift their attention to the final stretch of the season.
Madrid were knocked out of Europe after a heavy 5-1 aggregate defeat to Arsenal, ending their hopes of back-to-back Champions League titles. Despite the disappointment, Vinicius remained optimistic, stressing that there are still trophies to play for and that the team must stick together to make the most of the remaining fixtures.
On Thursday, the Brazilian forward struck a defiant tone in his message, expressing gratitude for the supporters and confidence in the club’s ability to bounce back.
“Real Madrid will be back, as always. Thanks for your support. We need to be together for the final weeks of the season. There are still titles we can win. Always together with this team until the very end. Hala Madrid,” he said.
His comments tap into the enduring spirit of the club, who have lifted the Champions League trophy a record 15 times and built a reputation on resilience and comebacks.
With La Liga still within reach, Madrid’s attention now turns to domestic matters. Historically, the club have maintained a remarkable habit of winning at least one title per season, a streak that famously spanned nearly two decades in the 1950s and 60s. The challenge now is to keep that tradition alive as the season nears its climax.
