Lamine a blessing to Barcelona – Flick

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick spoke to ‘Movistar Liga de Campeones’ and highlighted Lamine Yamal’s great performance, who pulled the team back from a 0-2 deficit.
A great match was played in between Barca and Inter in the first battle of the Champions League semifinals. The two sides played out a hard-fought 3-3 draw and Hansi Flick, at the end of the match, highlighted the role played by Lamine Yamal, the youngest scorer in this stage of the European competition.
“Lamine showed us the path we should follow,” said the Spanish international, who was on hand to help the team in the most difficult moment. “That 1-2 was very important. I’m very happy with the team, we have to keep fighting until the end,” the German assured to the microphones of ‘Movistar Liga de Campeones’.
“I think we didn’t start well. We conceded two goals, but then we got back into the game. In the first half we had ups and downs, the second half was spectacular for the fans and players. There is a second game left and we have to win. It’s a final before the final,” said Flick, analysing the match.
On the other hand, the ‘Cules’ coach referred to those set pieces that Inter took advantage of: “We are talking about a Champions League semifinal. There are great teams. They have experience and they have shown it. They had the advantage from set pieces, they played very well with four or five very tall players. They took advantage of that.
Finally, the German coach did not want to venture a prediction about Kounde, who was substituted due to injury on the stroke of halftime. “For the moment, we have to wait until tomorrow (Thursday),” he concluded.
