Nico Williams prioritises Barca ahead of other clubs

Nico Williams has revealed that his priority is to play for Barcelona next season.
Los Cules are not forgetting about Luis Diaz, although they are considering whether a move for the Spaniard would be financially viable.
It looks set to be a summer full of signings and rumours from different teams. One of those who could be one of the big stories of the window could be Nico Williams, who has several teams on his trail.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on Monday, the Athletic player has already made it clear that his priority is to join Barcelona. This would have made the Cule board return to that option, although, in principle, they must see if the operation is economically viable.
However, Barca have not forgotten about Luis Diaz’s option. However, they are not going to go all out and pay an exorbitant amount for the Colombian. The positive point is that this operation could be paid in instalments, while the 62 million euros for Nico will have to be paid all at once.
In addition, teams like Bayern and the Premier League have not lost sight of him. The winger still has a good reputation and any European financial giant could pay such a figure to sign him. The Bavarians are willing to wait. Be that as it may, it doesn’t look like the future of the younger Williams is going to be resolved any time soon.
