Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pledged to turn a new leaf following his recent legal battle with the Ogun State government.

This comes just hours after the Zazu Zeh crooner regained his freedom, having been granted bail of ₦2 million over allegations of assaulting government officials at his bar.

Portable, who was previously declared wanted, eventually surrendered to the authorities and faced legal proceedings before securing his release.

Taking to social media, the singer shared a video in which he expressed gratitude for overcoming his legal troubles and vowed to focus on his career and financial growth.

“Alhamdulilahi for everything ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God ✍,” he wrote.

Known for his frequent clashes with law enforcement and controversial outbursts, Portable now appears determined to adopt a more cautious approach. However, reactions from fans remain mixed, with many skeptical about his ability to truly stay out of trouble given his history of controversies.

For now, the singer seems set on prioritizing his music and financial success, but only time will tell if this new resolution will last.
