Onana speaks on Man Utd future amid challenging term

The Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has made a decision regarding his future at Manchester United despite a series of challenging performances during what has been a difficult season for the club.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the Red Devils from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, has faced intense scrutiny for his uneven performances, particularly in recent matches.
After being recruited by his former Ajax manager Erik ten Hag, Onana initially showed promise, but has struggled with consistency, particularly during his second season at Old Trafford.
Reports suggest that the Cameroonian is determined to stay at Manchester United and work through his struggles, despite speculation that coach Ruben Amorim may look for a new goalkeeper in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Amorim’s plans may clash with the goalkeeper’s desire to remain at the club, as the Portuguese coach is reportedly keen to strengthen the position. As things stand, Onana’s backup is Turkish international Altay Bayindir, with club veteran Tom Heaton also providing cover.
