Osimhen eyes Premier League switch

Victor Osimhen has reportedly set his sights on a Premier League move this summer, with Manchester United emerging as serious contenders for his services after he turned down an offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal.
The Nigerian forward, who spent the past season on loan at Galatasaray and played a key role in their Super Lig triumph, had been close to a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League. However, talks with Al-Hilal have collapsed, leaving the Nigerian international to explore other options.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Osimhen remains determined to realise his long-held ambition of playing in England’s top flight, and United have now intensified their interest.
With Ruben Amorim’s side eager to bolster their attacking options following a disappointing 15th-place finish, the 26-year-old has emerged as a key target.
Napoli are reportedly unwilling to budge on the striker’s £63.4 million release clause, which could pose a challenge for the Mancunians given their current financial constraints. Nonetheless, the club are said to be exploring a potential player-plus-cash arrangement to make the deal more viable.
One name believed to be under consideration as part of such a proposal is Joshua Zirkzee as the Old Trafford giants look to negotiate a package that would convince the Italians to part ways with their star forward.
With the summer transfer window now open, the Red Devils are expected to ramp up efforts to land Osimhen, who has once again become one of the most talked-about names on the market.
