PDP auditor, others resign in Cross Rivers

The Peoples Democratic party in Cross River State, especially in the northern senatorial district, has yet again received another fatal blow following the resignation of its State Auditor Hon. Adida Agabi from the party.
Hon. Adida Agabi, a one time Leader of Bekwarra LGA legislative Council, former Chapter Chairman of PDP Bekwarra and currently the state Auditor of the PDP.
His resignation follows the recent gale of resignation from the PDP that has since lost national appeal and direction.
In a similar move, the chapter Secretaries of PDP in Bekwarra Mr Emmanuel Ogar Okpe and Obanliku Local Government Area Mr Joseph Ushie have also tendered their resignations from the party.
Other PDP stakeholders from OBO Federal Constituency who have also tendered their resignation letters from the party in the last 24 hours are: Formal Obudu State of Assembly Aspirant Harry Okpachui, Oban Ward 1 Councilorship candidate Ashiwel Augustin, Prince Adah Sylvester (Sosoliso) and Hon. Philip Odey from Bekwarra LGA.
Recall that penultimate week, Hon. Peter Akpanke, OBO Rep Member in the green chambers had tendered his resignation from the party citing the internal wrangling that has long gripped the PDP with no feasible solutions in sight. It is obvious that Hon. Akpanke will be leaving with most of the party structures and his core loyalist.
These gale of defectors are set to join the OBO House of Reps Member Hon. Peter Akpanke, who would be aligning with the ruling party in the coming weeks for the overall interest of OBO Federal constituency.
