Portable blasts popular fuji veteran, Osupa over song takedown

Nigerian street-hop artiste, Portable, has called out Fuji music veteran, Saheed Osupa, for allegedly taking down his song from streaming platforms over copyright claims.
In a viral Instagram video on Wednesday, Portable expressed outrage after Osupa reportedly flagged his song for copyright infringement, leading to its removal from Spotify and Apple Music.
The dispute began after Portable incorporated a line from Osupa’s song, a move that prompted complaints from the Fuji icon and his distribution team.
Reacting to the takedown, Portable criticized Osupa for not supporting his career, branding him “big for nothing.” He also compared Osupa’s stance to that of fellow Fuji legend, Pasuma, whom he praised for being more accommodating.
“Saheed Osupa, you are big for nothing. If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you. You sing Fuji while I sing hip-hop. The same way I used a line from your music is the same way I removed three verses from Pasuma. But Pasuma never reported my song. Keep your distance if you can’t embrace me the way Pasuma adopted me like his own child. Portable ranted.
The controversy has since sparked reactions online, with fans weighing in on the ongoing clash between the two artistes.
