Premier League giants eye Barcelona’s Jules Kounde

The Barcelona full-back Jules Kounde is on the radar of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea. The Blues are the most interested in signing the Frenchman if he does not sign a new contract with the “Cules”.
Jules Kounde stole the show on Saturday night when his late extra-time goal sealed Barcelona’s win over Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final. The French full-back capped an incredible season with a moment of brilliance to lead his side to their second title this season.
Kounde has become one of the essential pillars of Hansi Flick’s hard-working defence, one of Barcelona’s main successes this season and one that has seen them claim numerous victories this season and remain in contention to win the quadruple.
The France international’s strong performances this season have also been backed up by his attacking contribution, having scored four goals and provided eight assists in 52 competitive appearances this season, which has put him on the radar of the Premier League’s top clubs.
According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are all interested in landing the French defender for next season. The Blues are reportedly the most interested in making a serious bid for the €60m-rated full-back.
Kounde’s current contract with Barcelona expires in June 2027, and although there have been rumours in recent months of a possible three-year renewal, the Blues have yet to reach an agreement with the Frenchman, who could pack his bags for the Premier League.
