Presidency reacts as security foils attempted breach during Tinubu’s Kaduna visit

The Presidency has commended the swift and professional response of security personnel who intervened after a man attempted to breach the security perimeter around President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his official visit to Kaduna State on Thursday.
The incident occurred while the President was addressing a crowd at the commissioning of key projects executed by Governor Uba Sani’s administration. The yet-to-be-identified man made a sudden move towards the podium, momentarily startling the President and prompting a swift reaction from his security detail.
In a post on X.com (formerly Twitter), the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital/New Media, Otega Ogra, praised the composure and efficiency of the security agents who managed the situation without disrupting the flow of the event.
“Handled with utmost professionalism by secret service agents without any disruption to Mr President’s speech or the event,” Ogra wrote.
Despite the brief interruption, President Tinubu maintained his calm, simply saying “Leave him alone” before continuing his remarks without further incident.
While the motive behind the man’s actions remains unknown, the dignified response by both the President and his security team has drawn praise from supporters and observers alike.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement identifying the individual or providing further details about the attempted breach.
