Revealed! Cost breakdown for 2025 JAMB UTME/DE registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced the registration process for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE), starting Monday, February 3, 2025.
As prospective candidates begin the online registration, JAMB has released the cost implications for the process, detailing fees for both UTME and DE applicants.
According to the breakdown, the registration cost varies depending on whether candidates opt for the mock examination. Candidates registering for UTME with mock are required to pay ₦8,700, while those opting out of the mock exam will pay ₦7,200. Direct Entry (DE) candidates will pay ₦5,700, while a Mock Trial Testing for Future Candidates has been introduced at a fee of ₦3,500.

UTME/DE application fee: ₦3,500
Reading Text: ₦1,000
CBT centre registration service charge: ₦700
CBT centre UTME service charge: ₦1,500
CBT Mock service charge: ₦1,500 (for those opting for mock)
Bank charges: ₦500
CBT Mock-UTME centre service charge: ₦1,500
JAMB has advised candidates to ensure they complete their registration before the official deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
