Napoli finalises goalkeeper plans
According to Romano, Napoli has settled its goalkeeper strategy
“Alex Meret is set to sign a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2026, with an option to extend until 2027. Elia Caprile will leave Napoli immediately to join Cagliari. Simone Scuffet has been identified as Napoli’s new backup goalkeeper,” he said.
Aston Villa eye Mingueza
Aston Villa has initiated talks to secure the services of Oscar Mingueza from Celta Vigo. Romano reported, “Nothing advanced yet, but he is one of the main targets for the January window.” The move is reportedly driven by the admiration of both Villa’s board and head coach Unai Emery.
Patrick Kluivert appointed as Indonesia head coach
Patrick Kluivert is set to take the reins as Indonesia’s national team coach.
Romano stated, “The deal is done. A two-year contract, with an option for an additional two years, has been agreed upon.”
The former Dutch international will be presented on January 12, with a clear objective to guide Indonesia to World Cup qualification.
Fenerbahçe closing in on Talisca
Fenerbahçe is on the brink of completing a deal for Anderson Talisca.
Romano said, “Final steps are being sorted out, and Al Nassr is prepared to give the green light.”
The attacking midfielder is expected to join the Turkish giants this week.
Rúben Amorim impressed with Leny Yoro
Manchester United defender Leny Yoro continues to earn praise from manager Rúben Amorim.
According to Romano, “Amorim and his staff are very happy with Yoro’s development. Despite managing his game time after a long injury, Yoro remains one of the club’s untouchable players.”

Colombian star James Rodriguez is on the verge of leaving Rayo Vallecano as a free agent.
Romano disclosed, “Discussions are ongoing to terminate his contract and explore a new chapter as a free agent.”

Real Betis talent Assane Diao is set to complete his move to Italian club Como. Romano confirmed the €12 million deal, stating, “Diao will fly to Italy this week to finalise the transfer. Real Betis has also secured a sell-on clause in the agreement.”
Luiz Felipe Joins Marseille
Luiz Felipe will arrive in Marseille to finalise his transfer from Al Ittihad. Romano confirmed the exclusive news, saying, “The contract will be valid until 2026.”
The Brazilian defender’s arrival is expected to bolster Marseille’s backline.
