Tinubu returns to Abuja from Europe, welcomed by top govt officials

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday night following his trip to Europe, where he reportedly engaged in high-level meetings.
Upon his arrival, the President was warmly received by key government officials at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Those present to welcome him included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Photos from the arrival scene were shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President. The images captured a cordial atmosphere as the President exchanged greetings with his cabinet members under the night sky.
Although the presidency has yet to release an official statement detailing the purpose and outcomes of the European visit.
The President’s return comes at a critical time as his administration continues efforts to implement key reforms and navigate economic challenges at home.
