Tomori speaks on Spurs transfer speculation

AC Milan defender, Fikayo Tomori, has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The defender reaffirming his commitment to the Rossoneri in a recent statement.
Fikayo Tomori has put to rest rumours of a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur, declaring his unwavering commitment to AC Milan.
The 27-year-old England international, who has been a key figure for the Rossoneri this season, addressed the speculation head-on, stating, “I never planned to leave AC Milan, that’s very clear and simple”.
Tomori’s resolute stance comes in the wake of reported interest from Tottenham, with some sources suggesting a deal worth around £25 million had been in advanced stages.
The defender’s current contract with Milan runs until June 2027, following an extension signed in August 2022. Tomori’s importance to Milan is underscored by his 25 appearances across all competitions this season, including 14 in Serie A.
For Milan, who are currently in a close battle for Champions League qualification, his decision to remain put is a huge boost. “I’m just happy to be at this club and as long as they want me, I want to stay,” Tomori added, leaving no doubt about his future intentions.
