Tragedy hits Oyo as ex-governor’s daughter dies

Oyo State has been thrown into mourning following the tragic passing of Bisola Ajimobi, the eldest daughter of the late former Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Reports surfaced on Thursday, March 27, 2025, confirming that Bisola, aged 42, died in the United Kingdom after a brief illness. Her sudden demise has left many in shock, especially as she was known for her active role in public service.
Until her passing, Bisola served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu. She was also a devoted wife to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, with whom she shared three children.
Her death marks another painful loss for the Ajimobi family, coming years after the passing of her father in 2020. Tributes have since poured in from political figures, associates, and well-wishers mourning her untimely exit.
