Transfer: Napoli eye Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez

Napoli will continue to insist on landing Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez, who is likely to leave Anfield this summer and is also on the radars of Saudi Pro League clubs.
Darwin Nunez has failed to establish himself as an undisputed starter at Liverpool despite his arrival at Anfield in 2022 generating much expectation among Reds fans.
The Uruguayan striker wants to pack his bags this summer in search of a destination where he can play a more important role, although the Merseyside outfit will not let him leave easily, as they value the striker at around 70 million euros.
Napoli are one of the teams most interested in landing him and are in talks with the former Benfica striker’s camp, although they will also have to compete with Saudi Pro League clubs for him.
The reigning Serie A champions are looking to bolster their attack after Kvaratskhelia left the club in January to join PSG and the likely departure of Victor Osimhen this summer, which left the club with a significant sum of money to sign Nunez.
