Trump hints at Iranian supreme leader’s location, warns against escalating conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has stirred fresh controversy with a bold statement about the ongoing war between Israel and Iran, revealing sensitive claims and issuing a stern warning.
In a post shared via his Truth Social account, Trump suggested that the United States has precise knowledge of the whereabouts of Iran’s Supreme Leader, often referred to as the “Supreme Leader,” hinting at military capability without declaring direct action.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump wrote.
His remarks come amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran following a deadly exchange of airstrikes and drone attacks in recent weeks that has left hundreds dead across both nations, including civilians and military personnel.
Trump, who previously oversaw a maximum pressure campaign against Iran during his first tenure, issued a warning tied to U.S. interests and personnel.
“But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers,” he added, before closing with, “Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
While the Biden administration emphasized diplomacy and containment, Trump’s tone signaled a readiness for force, if provoked — a message that’s already drawing reactions from international observers and political analysts.
