Ter Stegen a perfect option for Man City – Matthaus

German legend Lothar Matthaus said Manchester City should seriously consider a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter tegen, who is rumored to be leaving the Catalan club this summer.

In recent weeks it has been rumored that Marc-Andre Ter Stegen could leave FC Barcelona this summer after the arrival of Joan Garcia, who is tipped to be the ‘Cules’ next first choice goalkeeper after leaving Espanyol.

Germany legend Lothar Matthaus recently said that Manchester City do not fully trust Ederson and that the Sky Blues could look for a new goalkeeper this summer, indicating that Ter Stegen should be their main target.

“I don’t know exactly what their plans are. But in my opinion, Ederson is not a 100% ideal option for the club. If Manchester City is looking for a stronger and more reliable goalkeeper, they should seriously consider Ter Stegen,” he told reporters.
