Governor Radda bags prestigious Transport Fellowship award

…Promises to invest more in transport sector
The Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has been honoured with the prestigious Distinguished Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria (CIoTA).
This coveted recognition was bestowed by the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria, ably led by Prince Segun Ochuko Obayendo, FinsTA who confirmed Governor Radda’s commitment and investment in the transport sector is recognised beyond the state jurisdiction.
The Registrar cum Council Secretary of the Institute, CN Rasheed Isiaka Aiyelabegan stated that the award is the highest accolade bestowed by the esteemed Institute, and that it is only reserved for accomplished professionals who have made exceptional contributions to the transport sector.
The conferment of this prestigious fellowship to Governor Radda is a resounding affirmation of his concerted efforts towards transforming the transportation landscape of Katsina State. His visionary leadership and innovative approaches have paved the way for groundbreaking developments, revolutionizing the way people and goods move within and beyond the state’s borders.
In a ceremony brimming with pride and celebration at the Katsina Government House, Governor Radda in company of the Deputy Governor Faruk Jobe, Secretary to the Government of the state Alhaji Abdullahi Faskari, Chief of Staff Hon Jabiru Tsauri some state Exco members and the General Manager of Katsina State Transport Authority, Alhaji Haruna Musa Rugoji graciously accepted the Distinguished Fellowship, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to CIoTA for the esteemed recognition. With characteristic humility, he dedicated the award to the hardworking men and women who have tirelessly supported his vision and efforts to enhance Katsina’s transportation infrastructure.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Radda reiterated steadfast commitment to further improving the state’s transport system, promising to leave no stone unturned in his pursuit of excellence. He commended the management of the Katsina State Transport Authority for their readiness to revive and enhance the state’s transport sector, ensuring seamless mobility for all residents and visitors alike.
