Bauchi approves wage award for workers

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has instructed the immediate payment of a N10,000 Wage Award to all categories of civil servants in both the state and local government areas.
This timely initiative will enable civil servants to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with greater financial ease and enthusiasm, providing a welcome respite from the current economic challenges.
The State Head of Civil Service, Yahuza Haruna, praised Governor Bala Mohammed for his dedication to the well-being of the state workforce, which has created a conducive work environment and enabled employees to perform their duties with greater ease and efficiency.
Workers are urged to show their appreciation for the Governor’s support by dedicating themselves to their duties and consolidating the gains achieved, as stated in a statement signed by Barr. Mohammed Sani Umar, Permanent Secretary, Establishment.
