Breaking: Portal opened for recruitment of 7,000 teachers

Oyo state government has opened it’s portal for the recruitment of teachers into public primary schools in the state.
The Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, on Tuesday, revealed the application portal during a press conference in Ibadan, the state capital.
According to Dr. Adeniran, the recruitment aims to fill vacancies in public schools across the state.
He said the portal will begin accepting job applications as from 6:00p.m. today, June 25, 2024, and will remain open for the next three weeks.
He said application will close on Tuesday, 9th of July, 2024
He added that after the portal has closed, applicants will be shortlisted for a computer-based test, followed by an oral interview for those who passed the test.
Dr. Adeniran urged the public to cooperate with the Oyo state government and the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB).
He said any issues or complaints should be directed to the board via the phone numbers and email addresses listed on the job portal.
He emphasized that the application is free, and applicants should not pay anyone to apply or to get shortlisted.
He advised applicants to provide all required information, as failure to do so may disqualify them from taking the computer-based test.
