My dad said he had vision I’d end my career as gospel singer’ – Davido

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, revealed a vision his father, Deji Adeleke, had about his future.
Davido disclosed that his father, Deji Adeleke, had foreseen a future where he would leave his current genre and become a gospel singer.
During a chat with guests at his wedding on Tuesday, Davido stated, “In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I said, ‘What vision?’ He said, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer’.”
The wedding, held at Eko Hotel and Suites, attracted dignitaries from various sectors, including Davido’s uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and the governors of Lagos and Abia States, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Alex Otti, respectively.
Other notable attendees included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom State governor Udom Emmanuel, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The event also saw the presence of celebrities such as Don Jazzy, Ini Edo, PSquare, Zlatan Ibile, Patoranking, Obi Cubana, Seyi Tinubu, Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Osimhen, Pocolee, and the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
