Afrobeats sensational, David Adeleke who is professionally known as Davido has revealed that it is not easy to marry an Igbo woman.

He made this remark after marrying his lover, Chioma Rowland who is of Igbo extraction.

The highly publicised wedding ceremony took place on Tuesday, marking a significant milestone in the couple’s relationship.

In a candid moment during an Instagram live session with music executive Ubi Franklin, Davido revealed that marrying an Igbo woman is no easy feat.

“E no easy. E no easy to marry Igbo woman. Igbo woman, e no easy,” he stated.

While he didn’t elaborate on the specific challenges he faced, his comment sparked interest and curiosity among fans and followers.

Despite the challenges, Davido demonstrated commitment to his wife and her family.

During the wedding ceremony, The Nation reported that Davido assured Chioma’s parents that their daughter would be protected and respected in their union, promising her “a lifetime assurance.”
