Breaking: Tinubu seeks to resolve minimum wage crisis, meets labour leaders

In an effort to resolve the lingering crisis over new minimum wage, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently meeting with the leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
The meeting which is currently holding at the Presidential Villa in Abuja commenced after labour leaders arrived State House in a white Toyota Hiace Bus at 2:00pm and were led straight into the president’s office.
The tripartite committee on the minimum wage had in June this year recommended N62,000, but the organised labour rejected it, demanding at least N250,000 as minimum wage.
