Ahmed: Autism survivor and DJ at his own party, by Florence Adidi

This Monday was Ahmed’s birthday. He is the last born of Rafat Idris Salami (If she like make she go born follow Ahmed)
Anyway the wonderboy/ my celebrity turned 20 on that day so his mom put up what she thought would be à small gathering for him and invited a few friends, but to our amazement, guests kept pouring into the Muna Lisa Park venue of the occasion from 12pm till 7pm when we left the place.
Most of them came with packs of assorted drinks, trays of different small chops and Ahmed actually received 3 huge cakes as birthday present too on that day.
By the way, Ahmed is an autism survivor and his blazing the trail in everything he choses to do despite the challenge.
Many parents and children with the autism challenge also came to celebrate with Ahmed.
Our celebrant was the DJ at his own party and he came to the occasion very ready with his own music playlist which he released one after the other to the admiration of most of the attendees. We played hard, ate well and generally had so much fun.
Only one thing pained me in the whole of the matter, the mother of the Celebrant asked every one to come to the event, dressed in sports wear, my people!
I was the only one who complied with that directive ooo and I felt like a fish our of water among the other attendees.
Meanwhile, I had made up my mind to enjoy myself at the party regardless of any odds, which I did.
Note: Ahmed has a YouTube page on Facebook where short videos of how he copes with the vagaries of his everyday life is posted by his Mom and already he has many followers.
Please follow the page so we can encourage him to succeed despite his challenge.
