96-year-old philanthropist makes generous donation to Maiduguri flood victims

Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata has donated a staggering N1.5 billion to support victims of the devastating Maiduguri flood.
This compassionate gesture aims to alleviate the hardship faced by those taking refuge in various camps across Borno State.
During his visit to the Government House in Maiduguri, Dantata extended his condolences to Governor Babagana Zulum, the government, and the people of Borno State, particularly those who lost loved ones in the disaster. He also expressed concern over Nigeria’s economic downturn, urging elites and political leaders to reflect on their actions and prioritize the fear of Allah.
Governor Zulum was deeply moved by Dantata’s visit, acknowledging it as a powerful symbol of hope and solidarity during these challenging times. “The people of Borno deeply appreciate this show of humanity by a 96-year-old,” Zulum remarked. “May Allah bless and reward you with Aljannah. ‘Mu gode, Baba’!”
