VIDEO: Speed Darlington breaks silence after arrest over alleged defamation of Burna boy

Controversial rapper and social media sensation, Speed Darlington, has finally spoken out after his recent arrest, which was reportedly triggered by a defamation lawsuit filed by Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy. The arrest made headlines just days ago, sparking widespread speculation about the feud between the two artistes.
After being silent following his release from police custody, Speed Darlington has now shared his side of the story in a live video chat, where he threw subtle shade at Burna Boy and reflected on the entire ordeal.
The rapper expressed that he was somewhat taken aback by the amount of effort Burna Boy had allegedly put into having him arrested. According to Speed Darlington, the energy and resources Burna Boy invested in the situation made him feel as though he had “made it” in the industry—perhaps even more so than Burna Boy himself.
He confidently remarked that the intense focus placed on him by the Grammy-winning singer suggested that he was more successful than people might think.
“From what I feel, I dey spoil something for am. The amount of effort he put in is more. I feel like I got it made than him. Seriously, I feel like I’m more successful than him. Like there’s nothing to take. But you on the outside looking in no go see am,” Speed Darlington said during the live chat.

The rapper’s statements imply that Burna Boy’s actions had validated his relevance and success in the music industry, despite the differences in their career trajectories. His comments have since generated buzz online, with fans of both artists reacting to the subtle jabs and the ongoing drama.
The incident that led to Speed Darlington’s arrest remains the subject of public curiosity, as neither Burna Boy nor his camp has publicly addressed the claims made by the rapper.
As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen whether the feud between the two will escalate further or whether they will resolve their differences away from the public eye.
