The former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has highlighted twelve (12) steps to lifetime financial success.
The twelve steps are as follow:
(1) Never buy a new phone or car until you have a cashflow asset (use second-hand until then)
(2) Make a budget before you spend even a penny
(3) Focus on investing, not saving. Inflation destroys the value of your savings
(4) Invest money while others are wasting money
(5) Prepare for success while they are praying for it
(6) Chase ideas while they are chasing babes and guys
(7) Maintain your assets while they are maintaining their girlfriends
(8) Plot your progress while they are planning their revenge
(9) Don’t buy what is in fashion. Rather, spend on what you have a passion for
(10) Let rejection motivate you while it devastates them
(11) Take time to improve while they take time to groove
(12) Invest in annual medical checkups. Nothing destroys your wealth like losing your health
Success is by choice, not by chance. Pray, but still play your part. Don’t save for a rainy day. Instead, invest for a rainy day, because savings are static and inflation is dynamic. The only thing that can progress more than inflation is investments. So invest to have power over money, because if money has power over you, the lack of it will make you do things that wound your pride and body.
