Abuja-British school to punish students caught bullying in viral video

The Lead British International (LBI), Abuja, has said it will punish student caught in a viral video bullying.
A video had since gone viral showing different students being bullied by their classmates.
In a statement by Abraham Ogunkanmbi, Head of School at LBI Abuja, on Tuesday said the school had reached out to the “victim and family to provide support, including access to counselling services to help them cope with the emotional and psychological impact of the incident”.
He added, “We will work with the perpetrators and their families, offering counselling and disciplinary measures to address their behaviour, which has no place in society.
“We have also immediately initiated an investigation and appointed a dedicated team to investigate the matter thoroughly. The team has been gathering information, including reviewing video footage and interviewing witnesses, to understand the full scope of the incident and identify the immediate and remote causes”.
