GTBank writes customers over transaction delays


Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has issued a formal apology to its customers for delays and disruptions in transaction processing caused by its recent system upgrade.
The bank expressed gratitude for customers’ patience and understanding during the challenging transition period.
In a statement released on Wednesday, GTBank acknowledged the significant impact the technical issues had on its customers’ daily lives and business operations. The bank assured the public that the obstacles encountered during the system migration have been resolved, with operations now fully restored.
“We appreciate your trust and the extraordinary patience you demonstrated as we transitioned to the new Finacle Suite of Core Banking Application Systems,” the bank stated. It noted that the upgrade was undertaken to ensure greater agility, adaptability, and improved service delivery.
