Abuja hospital seeks public assistance to identify unconscious accident victim

The National Hospital Abuja has issued an appeal to the public for assistance in identifying a middle-aged man currently receiving treatment in its Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
According to a statement released on Sunday by the hospital’s spokesperson, Dr. Tayo Haastrup, the unidentified patient was brought to the facility on December 21, 2024, after being involved in a road traffic accident along the Jabi Express Road. A good Samaritan had rushed the man, who was found unconscious, to the hospital.
Since his arrival, the patient has been receiving medical care, but efforts to locate his family or loved ones have so far been unsuccessful. The hospital emphasized the need to reunite him with his family to ensure his well-being.
“We appeal to any member of the public whose relative has been missing since the date of the incident to visit the Trauma ICU at the National Hospital Abuja for identification and further action,” the statement read.
