Breaking: Ex-Police AIG wife abducted

The wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu was abducted from her residence in Arepo, Ogun State, by heavily armed kidnappers on Friday.
Eyewitnesses reported that the kidnappers, executing a well-coordinated attack, intercepted the victim as she was about to enter her compound. Her Lexus SUV was forcibly stopped, and she was dragged out before being whisked away through a swampy area to an unknown location.
Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the abduction and disclosed that law enforcement agencies are actively working to rescue the victim. A team of officers, led by the Divisional Police Officer, is combing the surrounding swamp and bush terrain for clues.
Additionally, community leaders, including the Baale of Warewa and Maaba, have been engaged to mobilize local vigilantes and riverine security operatives in the ongoing search efforts.
As the police intensify their rescue mission, the public remains on edge, awaiting updates on this high-profile kidnapping case that has sent shockwaves through the Arepo community.
