The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, over allegations that he brought a live snake into the Government House.
The party, in a statement released on Sunday by its State Secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, confirmed that the suspension takes immediate effect, pending further investigations and possible disciplinary measures.
The incident reportedly took place on February 8, 2025, causing panic among government officials, dignitaries, and guests present at the Government House. The party described Sani-Giant’s action as disturbing and stated that any further infractions could lead to his expulsion from the party.
While the exact motive behind the act remains unclear, the APC reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining order and discipline within its ranks.
