Breaking: Tragedy in Abuja as tanker explosion engulfs vehicles, claims lives


A devastating explosion erupted at the Karu Bridge in Nyanya, Abuja, on Wednesday after a gas tanker burst into flames, engulfing multiple vehicles and leaving several casualties.
Emergency responders have so far recovered at least seven bodies as rescue operations continue. The incident has thrown the area into chaos, with personnel from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other security agencies actively working to contain the situation.
The explosion has also triggered severe gridlock along the axis, forcing many commuters to abandon their vehicles as panic spreads. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the cause of the explosion or the total number of casualties.
